Kate Lamb

Kate opened Hest Bank Dental Care with her husband Mike in 2001. They wanted to look after people and provide people with the same quality of dentistry that they would give their family. They now have a team that feels like an extended family and patients who are happy to come and see them. With three daughters, one mad dog and a love of the great outdoors, life is busy outside of work for Kate and there’s rarely a dull moment in the Jones household.

Kate obtained a Bachelor of dental surgery in 1990 from the University of Wales, followed by a diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons London in 1996. She then gained her Membership in General Dental Practitioners at Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1999 – an exclusive post graduate qualification in which a dentist is examined in all areas of general dental practice and must give evidence to the Royal College to the highest standard. Kate excelled in full mouth reconstruction, ageing dentition and cosmetic dentistry. More recently, Kate has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Pain Management and Anxiety at University College London and an Advanced Certificate in teaching in a Primary care setting from UCLan in Preston, ensuring quality training to the whole team.
