Periodontal Disease

We would like to offer you a solution that is realistic for most patients to be able to afford.
With the new Periodontal Classification 2017, patients’ expectations, and CQC/GDC attention to untreated disease, the whole area of periodontal disease is becoming difficult and time consuming to manage.
In our team, we have a clinical dentist who restricts herself to the treatment of periodontal disease as well as a therapist and oral surgery trained surgeon who is happy to do the fine periodontal surgery when appropriate.
We are happy to give a diagnosis and establish a treatment protocol for the patients. The periodontal disease can then be treated and stabilised and the patient returned to our care with a protocol for future monitoring.
All treatment protocols are offered including airflow to upset the biofilm, conventional Supra and subgingival treatments, soft tissue lasers and surgery as a last resort. Gingival recession can also be limited or repositioned in certain circumstances.
Hygiene appointments can be established for high risk patients for 3 monthly reviews under a direct access hygiene plan so you maintain your relationship with your patient for routine dental care.
